Hey there. I'm not sure why your downloads didn't work, but I'm glad that switching to Opera helped.
You should be able to get the steam key from Itch by "buying" the free version here. It should give you a steam key. If for some reason it doesn't, please jump onto the Discord and ping me or a mod for help in the help channel there.
