It's shame, this game is obviously extremely high quality and you can tell the Devs put a lot of effort into it, but playing with this MC is almost unbearable. The guy is completely incompetent, he's gotta be one of the weakest most pathetic MC's i've ever seen in an AVN
Thanks for the honest feedback, I totally get the frustration! The MC really does start off quite "innocent," and that's 100% intentional.
We wanted to steer clear of the cliché where the "protagonist is badass from minute one." He's an orphan who's learning everything the hard way: how to handle relationships, responsibilities, emotional strength, and physical strength too. Showing this personality being built from the ground up is exactly what sets Our Home apart from most AVNs, where the guy shows up already fully formed and overpowered.
The turning point does come, and it's a strong one. It will require a major event (no spoilers), but we're getting really close now. His development is gradual because we want it to feel earned, so when he finally "wakes up," it actually makes sense and feels truly rewarding for anyone who's followed the journey from the beginning.
Hang in there just a little longer. I genuinely believe that when that part arrives, you'll enjoy his arc a whole lot more. Thanks again for the feedback, it really helps us confirm we're heading in the right direction.
Oh okay gotchya, I was hoping that would be case. I understand wanting character development in your game. I was just worried he was going to stay that way the whole game lol. Can't wait to see his development. Would be cool to see that on a physical level too, like seeing him actually gain muscle after going to the gym. I'm actually a personal trainer and MMA fighter, so it'd be interesting to see the process for the MC. If you guys manage to pull off his character development well, it could be very rewarding.
