I couldn´t beat the game, because my Computer sucks and I got stuck in the air at 18 pearls... I was too frustrated to start again. But I found the boss room by accident in early game and know where the last 2 pearls are, because I explored 100% of the map and was only dashing between the waterfalls in the end to get to the missing pearls... And flying through the top of the map from side to side.
Anyways, beside my computer messing with my graphics and the sound design, I still had a lot of fun. It is a surprisingly big game with great graphics for the short time you had to develop it. I just probably found a few bugs, I´m confused by.
Why can the cats sit on top of the water (like in the middle of the first square at the top, while there´s a drop down below them)? It would be funny if they avoided it. The snakes don´t always do damage, even though they glide through the character. Sometimes they do, more times than not they just don´t. And I can´t always attack the crabs for some reason... might be my computer, but I couldn´t hit them with my attacks, when out of the water.
The first cat lured me in though... I love cats... but they tried to kill me. XD
Overall it´s a great game though, and I really liked it! I especially liked the character designs and art style. The dialogues were a bit long and I would have put some more lore at the start of the game, so I knew more about why the character was there in the first place. But I suppose those critiques can also just be personal taste. So I was overall satisfied with my player experience in the game. Sooo thanks for making it. :D
