I totally thought the world border were basically jsut there for asthetics, so that youz know that you have reached the void and ther is nothing else there.
cuse you can jsut fly straight throguh them with little to no resistance.
I can't speak about intentionality on behalf of the dev, but the sort of outcropping at the bottom of the map, as well as the maze of vine-like borders east of the desert, make me think that they should be barriers. Regardless, it doesn't break the game, but it could be fixed if the dev wants to channel the players' experience more.
