Use of the limitation
I made it so that you had to handle multiple screen and battery’s would run out of charge making it so that you would have to handle mishaps and survive even when everything went wrong.

Comments
Like other mentioned it in the comments, we had some troubles understanding what to do with the batteries.
The base of the game is pretty solid however. It can be a nice platformer with a little bit more explanations on the controls and mechanics.
Well done overall for the concept work and the smoothness of the gameplay ✨🌈🤖
Tysm and yeah you summed it up exactly I couldn’t imaging a comment that would speak more truth gl for the jam :) !
prety intresting intrpetition of the limition. nice change of pace from all the wild west esc games haha
Yeah my game definitely constrasts the other games due to its limited pallete thx for playing!
I was in the middle of a charging cycle and bam, the battery died, sniff. But good concept!
Yeah ur batteries run out of charge so you have to be careful with power thx!
i survived until i had no batteries anymore and then died
Hope you enjoyed the game!
I appreciated it ^^
I'm confused on what to do; I get the batteries, but can't use them on the terminals :P. But i saw the vision! The player movement is really well done!
yeah I really should have added a tutorial…
Simple but great game! :D I like the concept
Thx a lot!
A bit confused what exactly I'm supposed to do but very cool that this is open source!!
Yeah I made it open source so I might be able to show it to an employer or college and say that I have been developing since I was a child
The controls were solid, the sprites clean, and the platforming felt good! It took some trial and error to figure out what I was meant to be doing to avoid being jumpscared by the "YOU DIED" screen, but it looks like game over is inevitable as the batteries eventually despawn.
While the gameplay is a bit rough, I could see it becoming something really solid with a few additions like a battery spawner somewhere in the map, some clearer UI elements (how long do I have left before I ded?) and a clearer indication of when I need to head to specific terminals and turn them on or replace their batteries.
I could see this becoming something really good, since there's a great gameplay loop hiding in here. For now though it's a solid foundation, which is great for such a short Game Jam!
The character controller took me half of first day which is why the platforming felt good, but it was my fault for not adding more UI elements and more of a tutorial anyways thanks for playing!
I don't really understand what's going on. Do I die at the end no matter what? At some point the batteries disappeared so I guess that's the end for out little robot :)
Yeah you do die I should have made it a bit more apparent that batteries despawn when they lose charge mb. Thx for playing!
