I have little experience in sound design, I have only created a few ambient tracks for unpublished games so it would be best if I have sound artist to work with me. Cool game in art music sfx and all that juicy stuff but I didn't like the gameplay, a bit generic, like I see this gameplay in literally every game in the jam but if the game design was different I believe that the developer(s) could make a great game
I'm giving this a 5 on enjoyment this an amazing game sfx music art animation is amazing gameplay loop is great too I really don't know a problem in this game other than it not using the limitation at all as much as I love this game I'm gonna have to give it a 2 on limitation ):
One of the best games in the jam. Game is incredibly polished art sound and gameplay is amazing deserves more rates. The gameplay loop is pretty addictive. Could become an actual game if more polishing was put into it. But I did have one problem which is it lacks any tutorial because I didn't know as you could move up and down the lanes and almost gave this game a one star before reading the description (Your player isn't supposed to read the description to learn about the game)
I don't know how to feel about this game Ai Art? really that is sad to see but I guess I shouldn't give you a one star in all for it but I don't know what else is Ai so ima just give u one star ):
The character controller took me half of first day which is why the platforming felt good, but it was my fault for not adding more UI elements and more of a tutorial anyways thanks for playing!
Like the concept but the randomness I feel isn't a good concept. Now while it does fit the limitation it makes the game feel unresponsive forcing me to spam keys like Shift and LMB. It just makes you feel out of control like you aren't playing as the character like the fighting mechanic might be better if you remove the randomness.
Has potential just is really confusing and lacks a tutorial I have no idea what to do art is great tho.(If you want to make a good tutorial make it part of the game)
The game was fine but at the start the game gives you a minute of confusion I thought I supposed to stop the lightning. The character also feels slow and heavy. The difficulty was kind of weird it went from having no challenge to being impossible I might just have a skill issue but oh well
Game was nice I think the game would be a lot more fun if you used a better character controller and maybe if you didn't torture yourself by using pygame. I mean the game is impressive for pygame but not impressive as a game.
