Thanks! Let me know if you have some cool career stories to share! :)

I have a story for my second team, Westby Norton. At the start of the game the game brands a rival team. One of the games closer to the end of the season I had a crazy game against a non-rival team, Smethholme City(That I thought was named Smelthome City until I looked at it for this comment). It had everything: red card, yellow cards, lots of goals and an injury. Never thought a rival's game (Blackmouth Orient) could top it. Guess what? Red card, yellow cards, an injury for both teams and one of many goals in that match was scored by their goalkeeper(I think. He was their number1).

Never thought I would get attached to a second team and thought I would go max moneymaking playthrough, but after those games I got two events trying to rename my stadium in the same turn, one from fastfood company and one from consultant(that event has both options raise rep by a single plus but the first one costs money. Was that intentional?)

Another thing about that club is that it loved other sports. I had a hockey fan hired as staff for a grant, training in the futsal complex and collaborated several times with a local cricket club. Question is SillyNannies pre-written name or does it store the name as soon as it's generated?

Another question: do non-primary stats matter? Does GK stat do anything for a non-goalkeepers/ Def and ATK for goalkeepers/ ATK for defenders/ DEF for strikers? I ask as I got very "lucky" at getting GK improvements for my strikers. I even had a scenario do that.

Yet another question: how does the Finnish name pack works?

I do have some issues: when retiring, I had players go from 17 to 19 instantly at contract renewal.

I know that any sequel/feature update is not going to be worked on for a while but I do have some suggestions for the magical maybe-potentially-someday. I'm not going to ask for stuff like promotion playoffs or cups and instead ask for something that I, random dude on the internet, think is less complicated and therefore closer to an update.
1) Upper division generation. Currently only div3 is generated by the player but it would be nice to have the same feature for the whole pyramid.
2) Detailed Highlights. Having a toggle that shows the full message of the highlight, swapping "12' Goal scored by John McName" back to "12' J.McName scores from a direct free kick!". Screenshotting is broken for me and the match text doesn't stop for any crazy moments.
3) Formations. More complicated so most out-there suggestion. Currently it uses 442 but it would be nice to customise to a 343 or 532 and similar 3-digit formations. I will understand if you would refuse to implement it not even because of work needed to code that in, but just because it can make for an easier stamina/injury management.

Wow, thanks for the detailed post! Sounds like a crazy season! :D

I'm not sure if the reputation raising moment you mentioned is intentional. The game includes some chaotic stuff for sure. Maybe my logic there was that rebranding gives you a boost, but refusing a consultant-led rebranding should also give you a reputational boost. Who knows...

SillyNannies is actually a Family Guy reference, they had the London Silly Nannies as an English American football team, and I always found that scene hilarious! :D

Non-primary stats do matter but the effect is very miniscule.

The Finnish language pack was a bit hastily assembled. The game download pack should include instructions for swapping these in, but be sure to back up your files before attempting it. I haven't playtested the language pack much, so I don't even know how well it works to be honest.

And thanks for all the great ideas! I actually do have an updated 2.0 version of this game in the works, but the progress is very slow. It adds a bunch of features like:

- kit designs and customization
- weather conditions
- player traits that affect player behaviour
- procedural club identities and histories for increased lore and immersion
- new features and new offices to visit between matches
- finetuned controls
- and many other things

But I have no idea when I'll be able to finish it. From your ideas, #1 and #2 are definitely doable. Adding custom formations would require much work due to how the game is coded (the code is absolutely awful, I can barely understand it myself), but it's not impossible either. I'll keep these in mind once I get back to the project. :)
