It's so incredible so far, dude. I don't even do 3D modelling really. I just want to support tools that empower people to make cool art. :)
I think the only tool I found myself wanting so far is a de-extruder, to move things backwards. It's so rad though.

Good call on the feature request. Is it doable to some extend already, but it does leave a hole that needs to be patched up.
One of my design principles for the project is to try and not supply and combined operations, and instead have distinct actions that the user then can chain together in creative ways. I believe that this creates a lot of the "fun" people are having when using the software.
So a potential solution for your request with this in mind could for example be to allow users to create new faces from a selection of vertices. It would both solve the hole, and also allow for other not-yet-thought-of uses.
