Island seems to be broken!

Hey, I'm not on social media at all, I really love how you interpreted the vibe of Zelda and it made me want to reach out! I've made a few variations on Zelda themed decks of cards, and wanted to offer you the PDFs if you were interested! I love anything that evokes the feeling of that world without relying on the obvious iconography and specific references. Anyway, much respect and if you want please drop a way to contact you that isn't social media lol! 

FWIW, me too. It's unfortunate the author still hasn't removed it, but I also understand it sucks to be harassed over something you've already addressed. 

I eagerly await a new version for this game, partially because of the AI art, but also because I genuinely think it will thrive without all the angry comments! It's a great game that I do want to succeed.

I love that solution! And the design principle, I think you're totally right to make things as clean and minimal as possible.

It's so incredible so far, dude. I don't even do 3D modelling really. I just want to support tools that empower people to make cool art. :)

I think the only tool I found myself wanting so far is a de-extruder, to move things backwards. It's so rad though.

I notice that sometimes the cards in stacks will pop out, letting me see what's underneath, but other times it doesn't work, which makes certain games more difficult (like time travel).

Aah, that's unfortunate! I also find myself reaching for an undo button when I've done something I didn't mean to. I don't mind too much though, it definitely raises the stakes!

Yeah I keep getting booted offline too, and random glitching when I log in as well, like evolutions that reverse themselves and things like that. 

I keep coming back to this. It's so beautiful. A year after the first time I experienced this I ended up doing a school assignment on it for my "Video Games as an Art Form" class, because it continues to stick with me as a prime example of the interactive medium's ability to uniquely express one's creative vision. 

PS. Is there anything you'd want me to share with our class tomorrow? Like, if you were there in our class, what's the most important thing you'd want to make sure we know about video games as poetry? (Not to put you on the spot!)

Yeah, I love Pico-8, and I haven't had sound issues with other ones on Chrome either. It's unfortunate, because I really wanted to use this game as a source.
I'm taking a 'video games as an art form' course and we're doing a whole week dedicated to you, your book and video games as poetry right now! It's great. :)

Hi there, I just bought your book from an online store in Canada, which came with the PDF (Though it seems to be only about 50MB).  But coming here after the fact I see that you also provide a variant PDF which wasn't included in my purchase, can you give a bit of information as to what's included in that file?  Thanks, really looking forward to diving in!
