in the guide it says "Relic Laboratory (EX)" and one of its requirements is "and both Basalt quests", maybe this requirement its only the first basalt quest?
Yes, you would be correct. Also, I believe you’re looking at an older version of the guide. The current version mentions that the 2nd Basalt quest is optional.
