Hi! I’ve only watched a little bit of his video so far since I’m a bit short on time, but I really liked it.

Regarding the questions, there are a few things I’d prefer to keep hidden for now in case I explore them in a possible sequel, but I can answer some of them.

The idea of keeping the customers alive and feeding them the cakes is more related to their disturbed mindset. They genuinely believe their creations are delicious and have the newcomers taste them and give their opinions (since they enjoy being praised) before doing what they eventually do.

Aurelia is kept captive for less than 24 hours, which suggests the chefs were busy and planned to prepare the girl’s “special ingredient” later.

Azul’s arm was mostly a design choice. I wanted each of them to have a distinct characteristic: Fraise with the mask, Tashia with the long nails and wide smile, and Azul with the prosthetic arm. Their designs were actually recycled from another game about dolls that I was developing, but I eventually abandoned it because it was too ambitious. The jointed doll parts were removed to make them look more human, except for Azul’s arm, which remained as her defining trait. Later I thought… it’s perfect! In a moment of crisis and lack of resources, she might have simply devoured her own arm.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it. It was my first visual novel, so I didn’t have that much experience with writing yet. I promise I’ll do my best to create a deeper and richer story if there ends up being a sequel!
