Let’s Support Each Other! Artist & Developer Follow Party 🎨🎮

Hi everyone!

I’m Volkan, a pixel artist and graphic designer.. As I navigate this journey, I’ve realized how important it is to have a supportive circle of creators.

I wanted to start this thread for all of us to showcase our work and find new creators to follow! Whether you are a developer, an artist, or a musician, let’s connect. Instead of just "following for numbers," let’s find people whose work truly inspires us.

  • Link your profile/store and tell us what you are working on (Pixel art? A horror game? UI assets?). And check out other people's work in the comments and give them a follow if you like what they do!

  • I’ll start! I’m currently obsessing over creatures (like my little friend Squelch) and RPG assets.
    Here is my store: https://volkankeles.itch.io/

Looking forward to discovering your amazing projects!

You do know that self-promotion is against the rules of this category, right?

Mmm. I'm trying to increase visibility and support each others for new artists as me. If is not fit in here, i can move it to some other category.  Whic one is good for this?

Maybe General Development, to include programmers. I can move the topic so you don't have to make a new one.

That category rules said that no self promotion too. Also I saw a lot of people share twitter or itch profile links to "Introduce Yourself" post in this category, so I thougth it would be ok.

So, nevermind. I dont know where is exactly fit for this.

That's a really old topic; it's been going on for over ten years now. But you have a point. Not sure what to do.

Not sure why posts like these are against the rules when there is literally a sticky of a game promo post in the community thread. Hope you are able to find a good way to promote your game. I'm in full support. Would appreciate if someone from itch would clarify this especially for those of us that are new to the site.

That, too, is a very old topic.
