Has anyone gotten past the point of going to the bathroom and meditating in the hot springs? Every time I talk to the receptionist, she says I need to shower, but it's just a quick shower and nothing

I recently replayed version 0.74.008, available here, because someone there couldn't complete this stage of the game in 100 in-game days. The stage involving awakening Celestian abilities took me four (4) in-game days.

I did what Kimiko says: shower, bathe, and meditate a lot every day. And Nel's help is a must.

So, be a little more attentive to what other characters in this game say. :-)

Is it mandatory to have Nel in that place and to have celestial abilities? I did exactly what the character said, I used the bath and then tried to meditate, but it asked me to go to the bath again.

Can I recover my progress by downloading another update?

To unlock the abilities, you need to spend as much time as possible meditating.
Don't stay in the water. If Nel interrupts, let her do her thing. On the current version, you need her help.
On Android, update the game to continue your saves. Do not uninstall the app, as it will delete your saves.
