Genuinely peak fiction. It was surprisingly nice playing a maze horror game that does make you restart every time you get jumpscared; I still found myself avoiding the Entity's deviously good dancing but without getting extremely frustrated when I was caught. Turns out horror games don't have to be extremely frustrating and can be somewhat generous for a change. (its getting close to too generous though)

Sadly, I was not able to collect all 6 of the legendary Hennessy bottles because I ran into a softlock bug after the 5th one; The entity grabbed me, and then presumably set a trap at my feet, making me stuck. The entity itself wasn't able to jumpscare me again, it just jogged in place towards me.

The visuals have a lot of charm, the audio is good, the monitor kind of made my jaw drop. I didn't really find a use for the blacklight after the tutorial.

Overall, not much to say, its really good. I will probably try again in order to play it to completion in case I missed crutial gameplay.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

I realize now that the raycast I’m using is also detecting one of the entity’s hidden hitboxes (the one used to detect the player and activate the chase or the jumpscare), which prevents you from interacting with anything else. It’s a simple fix, but I completely missed it.

The UV flashlight can be used to search for floppy disks in the level. They are quite rare and randomly generated, so you may have passed through a section that didn’t have many.

The last thing to unlock is the chicken after you leave the 4th treasure, so you’ve already seen all the content in the game. There are two cinematics, one for winning and one for losing all your lives in hard mode, but they only last 10 seconds.
