wrote a more complete review on the play store and too tired to reword it here but had to leave a comment that this became an unexpected favorite. so so good and i'm going to be thinking about it for a long time. one thing i didn't mention in the other review is that "what's the closest i've come" is an excellent hint system that i don't think i've seen anywhere else. allowed me to feel like i wasn't cheating myself too much, and just needed to look at what i'd already done from another perspective. also really grateful for the android release, i might not have gotten to try it otherwise and many don't take the leap of publishing there for understandable reasons.
