You managed to use various techniques that make the world almost palpable, like dithering, which gives this kind of gradient on the lighting. The experience wouldn’t be what it is without such good SFX. This makes certain rooms have a very ethereal, otherworldly quality. I love this kind of game that is simply nothing more than a walking simulator in a very singular universe. It’s almost the project I wish I had made for this jam. So, a big congratulations—especially if this is your first game. You were able to use Godot in a very good way, and I would have really loved to see more.

Thank you deeply for your comment. I do wish I had more time. So much left unfinished. It was a frustrating experience not getting my ideas to fully manifest properly but I ended up with more than a few things I am genuinely proud of. I appreciate the nod to the sound design. My real passion is audio work and it got put off in this project until almost the very end. I feel like I only was able to really get things done in the final two weeks as the rest of the time was spent hunkering down, learning, and remaking or deleting large amounts of work. Until next time.
