your game is working nice, heres my feedback...

  • really good music, i like the variety of music for different size levels
  • good sound effects
  • gameplays is interesting and pretty fun
  • camera is centered way below the current node, i think if it was centered the control would be easier
  • the camera rotating around is distracting, id like the camera to just stay in the orientation it is.
  • turning off camera zoom on move helped a little but i dont want it to rotate at all
  • after beating a level, the default button should be "next level", i accidentally played the same level again a few times and was confused. even after i did it the first time it happened again before i realized i needed to go back to the level select.
  • this would be a cool hacking mini game for a larger game
  • maybe add some progression so instead of everything available from the start you need to beat a few levels of each size to unlock the next size group
  • some story could help keep players invested

Yeah, the camera is still fairly wonky. I probably will streamline it a bit more. I kinda like the dynamic-ness of it, but probably better to make it less... vomity haha.

And yeah, good idea on the "Next Level"; that makes sense.

Funny mention about the story; I was thinking of doing that actually. Didn't get around to it, but I do think it can add to the game for sure.

I'll think about the progression some more. The original idea was to make it sort of "infinite" game, since everything is randomly generated. But, I think giving it that story and actual progression would be nice. I'd have to figure out what's an appropriate amount of levels for each section. Doing 1 Nano level probably would be sufficient really. But, I might add more still (not as a requirement for Micro, but maybe for the story bits).

Eventually adding things like cute cosmetics for beating stages, adding powerups in the level, and maybe even enemies might be in the future.
