Wow. You could probably teach me a lot. I am just now getting into game development and have only submitted one game for a game jam. I am making another game as a full project, but it is not at a position yet to playtest or publish alphas for.

Attached is a video of one final bug that I found related to the flashlight thing. the first part is me scrolling up too far, and second is me scrolling down. I don't think it's intentional, but it might be. It is a little laggy. I apologize.

The linked video didn't play, but I believe I know what you mean.  I've added something more as well.  I'll set a limit for the flashlight zoom.  The flashlight zoom and use isn't necessarily a thing for this game at this point, but I might make a level that more requires/uses it.   You'll see what I added when you press the L)earn key when playing the game.  It will L)ist commands.

briefly though,

  • use wheel to adjust flashlight
  • hold shift key + use mouse wheel to adjust zoom
  • hold control key alone to auto move forward instead of using WASD

There is a strange bug in the maze (which I  finally managed to complete) where your mouse goes everywhere at random corners and makes you look in a random direction. I don't have any idea what could have caused it, but it's weird.

Is there yet an end to Foward and Back Boxes? If so then I couldn't find it.

Well there is, all the way forward, but I have more level editing to do.  I will use the remaining jam time to improve and create the levels.
