Hi! Would you play this with me while I stream so I can avoid horror jumpscares? I don’t like horror games, they are very scary. Knowing I have a living trigger warner helping me would help me have the bravery to try it.

Typically in weekday afternoons, so either tomorrow, thursday or friday, Lisbon time. You know, that’d be an excellent accessibility feature: an option to offer trigger warnings a few steps before a jumpscare. For example, if a jumpscare comes when you enter the vent, inform me, when I’m approaching the vent, that this jumpscare will happen. This would pause the game and not come as a jumpscare in itself of course. But maybe it could say “Jumpscare when you enter the vent”. Or: if it’s like, a monster approaching at random, you code that there is a 10 second delay before the moment he is “spawned” in the code and the moment we actually hear it. This is when you pause the game to warn us - those of us with the jumpscare warning setting activated.
That would be an interesting setting.
Hii, sorry it took me long to report back on this 😅
I pushed an update today with an option to disable jumpscares altogether. You can still hear the attacks but with a "heads up" sound instead of a loud and sudden creaming symphony haha.
If the update is not too late for it, I'd love to watch your stream!
Wow, that’s so nice of you! Thank you very much!
Honestly that’s so cool that horror game creators are open to these adjustments. It’s a thumbs up from me for sure.
I don’t think I’ll be streaming the game during the rating period, but maybe I can try a stream after? I’m focusing on playing for myself because I always end up talking a lot during the streams to give feedback. Which is great for the devs, but then I can only play 2-3 games and then I’m exhausted.
