No sure what I was suppose to be doing in this game.  I spent 5 minutes on a nice stroll through the woods before I found something that I thought was the next step.  Then I got stuck with a flashlight with no battery and 1 oar, could not find the other one.  A little more guidance might be helpful because I really wanted to continue with this game.  The overall design of the game was nice and I liked the annoying animatronic at the beginning, it made me laugh.  On the scanner, it would be nice if it did not take up so much of the screen and the player could pull it out when it started beeping or something.  I hope you continue with this, I would like to see where it goes.

Appreciate all the positive feedback. Definitely not a great choice of an obscure point-and-click I feel for a game jam. Could use some modern guidance/polish.
I actually thought about putting multiple voiced birds near each area that creepily made comments to guide player.

I read some of the other comments which got me passed the flashlight puzzle.  Once I understood how you do puzzles I did not get stuck until using the scanner.  Adding a note in the scanner to push the scan button might be helpful for those like me that don't think things through well lol.  The scanner worked when I used it properly.  Glad to have finished the game, thank you.
