Always happy to see new Game Gear and Master System games get released! Any differences between the versions or do they all play the same?

Hi! Thanks for your interest, I love the GG and the SMS, and it's great to see that more and more homebrew games are created for them (especially thanks to the annual SMS Power! dev competition).
To answer your question:
- The Game Gear and Game Boy versions are identical gameplay wise (same controls, difficulty, and levels). Only the graphics and sound are different (the original version being the Game Gear one, and the Game Boy a faithful port of it).
- The Master System has three main differences compared to the Game Gear version :
1) This version doesn't feature an "auto-fire" option (holding down button enabling automatic repeated fire). Each time you press the button, a short is fired and that's all. The auto-fire feature was added the Game Gear version (and so the GB one too) thanks to player feedback after the SMS release, as this one was the first to be published.
2) The levels designs are often different, to use the extra screen space provided by the Master System (256x192 screen area, compared to 160x144 on Game Gear and Game Boy).
3) The gameplay of the Game Gear version was "tweaked" to reduce the difficulty, as playing on a smaller screen area naturally makes the game harder. So the player moves slightly faster in the Game Gear version, and it also has a smaller hitbox.
Besides these differences, they play the same, and sound identical (Game Gear and Master System use the same audio hardware).
If you try several versions of the game, please let me know the one that you prefer :)!
