The dark synth sound and trailing echo is quite reminiscent of the original Pokemon Red and Blue track “Team Rocket’s Hideout” which is thematically quite fitting for a Mewtwo track. I really love the intervals in the first measure. It is unique and catchy and works really well as a “Mewtwo motif”. The contrast with the brassy sound introduces a heaviness that almost adds a comical nature that I imagine as representing the clumsiness of a lab scientist, perhaps. The overall feeling of this piece feels mysterious and toward the end, more bombastic. This leads to an interesting and unique vengeance feeling. Nice work and thank you for sharing!
