Great entry! Great to see other 3D game in Godot :D
- Gameplay
- Movement is the best feature of the game, flying is super fun. That's really good sign for the game. You can feel physics of the machine. Just pure fun!
- Fight is good, shooting with missiles feels good. Dancing around enemy missiles is good and fun.
- I feel adding health bar could help to understand how close I am to destroy the enemy
- Visuals
- In really good direction. I love how you made the main character model, looks great. Especially I love "shield" effect. I feel Godot is in really good spot :D
- UI
- Probably still need some work. In godot you can use theme scaling when you set big resolution https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/rendering/multiple_resolutions.html#desktop-game
- Probably adding some reminder about controls in corner is good practice when game is still in development so you don't have proper tutorial (it's my experience)
- Performance
- Shader compilations shutters the game (I had similar problem), loading screen should help in that case
- During gameplay no problems with performance on web version. Cool!
- Bugs
- I think in the hangar mode (progression) you miss your environment settings and model is completely black
- Music
- Really great, good match for fast pace shooting game
