sorry as a trans man i really disagree i don't find it that bad its just set up, also first sc i dont think they meant it in a creep way it seems like hes glad they didnt its a way to remove sexual undertones imo considering how often thats used to lead into sexual scenes in a lot of vns. I havent finished it but from how far I am the girl stuff lays off a lot after and i didnt rlly think it was that bad in the first place it doesnt read as fetishistic as someone whos unfortunately seen a lot of fetish stuff. and the misogyny thing seems to just be that character, not finished reading obv but that isnt a main character and from what i can see so far not meant to be a likable one. sory kind of tired and busy sorry if none of this makes sense  

renji is a young child in the flashback and he's repeating a lot of standard "men like x women like y" gender role stuff because this is what he's been exposed to. i don't think it's unusual for children to uncritically parrot things like this they might have heard parents or teachers say + the rest of the story is about an adult renji thinking "hmm maybe those things i believed to be unshakable truths as a young boy were inaccurate."

ofc i understand if reading these sentiments is uncomfortable or upsetting, so please don't force yourself to read the story if you don't want to. you should prioritise yourself!
