Mine wasn’t Star Trek, but “The Final Frontier” was a working title I had in my head for my own artwork most of the time I was working on it, lol!

Been staring at this one looping over and over again, I am very interested to know how you did this! I assume you have a program you can 3D animate in, and then export a low resolution version of? I’m perplexed by the lack of anti-aliasing, and the fact that I can see dithering in the shaded areas. Did you have to clean this up frame by frame? It looks very clean and polished! Super cool, I haven’t seen pixel art like this before

So this is made using Blender and a 3D software called PicoCAD2. I am part of alpha testing the PicoCAD2 software before release, and I just learned that the software will be released on the 16th of this month on Steam.

It is a 3D modeller, 3D texturer,  and 3D animator, all with a lowpoly and pixel focus. So, the dithering is native to the software's shading, and then the program exports it as a GIF.
