Understandable, it’s a pretty short game, thank you for taking the time to play!

Thank you for bringing this up, I updated the game to prevent the player from getting the same minigames twice in a row! You will now get a minigame chosen randomly from only the minigames that aren’t the one you last played. And I added a new minigame, so the total pool is 4 instead of 3 games. Thank you for playing!
Thank you for the feedback! I updated the game and you won’t get any minigame twice in a row now. The game was meant to convey that everything was going wrong in each minigame, which is why they’re all problems you have to fix. But that’s good to know this wasn’t clear, I’ll have to think about that when making future games. Thanks for playing!
Thank you so much, I’m really happy you liked the art! Also thanks for the feedback, I was so focused on the western theme that I didn’t even think about having cat related problems for Catville. I was just thinking of cowboy minigames, but adding more cat themed ones would have been a fun direction! Thank you for playing!
Thank you, I’m so happy you liked the 1bit art!! I would have liked more things going wrong, but this was the most I was able to make in the timeframe for the jam. I did publish a small update with a new minigame in the mix, and better randomization so you can’t get the same minigame twice in a row. Thanks so much for playing!
Thank you very much, excellent feedback! Those ideas are really good, thank you for sharing! I did update the game and make some improvements to the randomization of minigames, but nothing quite like what you’re saying with the cow or a rolling cylinder. I agree, I think those would definitely mix things up in a fun way, so I’ll have to think about that next time I’m working on a game like this. Thank you so much for playing!
Glad you liked they cows, they’re always running off, lol! Yes thank you for your feedback, a few others also shared that there were some problems with randomness. I updated the game so you won’t get the same minigame twice in a row anymore, and there’s also a pool of 4 games instead of 3 now to mix things up a little more. Thanks for playing!
I don’t know if you’re a fan of Brandon James Greer (also goes by BJGpixel) but this very much reminds of his work! Which is a big compliment, he’s probably my favorite pixel artist! I REALLY like how many ways you used the same 4 colors for different kinds of linework, lighting, and shading. Especially doing a Pokémon piece, this one really reminds me of the way the old Pokémon sprites got shaded, except yours also has all of the polish and refinement of a full art piece. Your linework is great, all the shapes are so clear, clean, and recognizable. While scrolling the submissions page I caught your thumbnail out of the corner of my eye and instantly recognized Nosepass. You’re very talented and I love your artistic style!
Mine wasn’t Star Trek, but “The Final Frontier” was a working title I had in my head for my own artwork most of the time I was working on it, lol!
Been staring at this one looping over and over again, I am very interested to know how you did this! I assume you have a program you can 3D animate in, and then export a low resolution version of? I’m perplexed by the lack of anti-aliasing, and the fact that I can see dithering in the shaded areas. Did you have to clean this up frame by frame? It looks very clean and polished! Super cool, I haven’t seen pixel art like this before
THIS! Easily one of my favorites for this jam! I really like game-art style pixel art, and this does a perfect job of making me feel like I could jump in and play this aesthetic little isometric game. I wish I could pick up a controller and stark walking around this world right now. Such a pleasing use of color and your overall art style is excellent, really good work here!
I love the swapping between a different color for each frame, dramatic contrast of the saturated colors against the sharp black background, and the text conveying the emotion of the scene. Clean letters when the voice is dreary and unsure, and large almost blurry letters for high emotion/intensity in the voice. The way this paints a whole scene and a journey is wonderful, love this so much
I think we already rated each other, but if anyone hasn’t rated Until Then yet, go give it 5 stars right now!!!
Here’s mine too if anyons else has time, very short game! https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3935933
