This game deserves more eyes on it. The way the menus flip and transition into the books is so clean. That first impression already impressed me. The hand-drawn / paper vibe is carried throughout all the games. The enemies, little environmental details, even the animations; nothing feels lazy. There are a bunch of small touches in there you don't notice immediately but they make the whole thing feel alive.
Usually, doing a 3-in-1 setup like that is risky. Often, one more feels more like the "real" one and the others tacked on. That's not the case here. The rouguelite feels tight and responsive. The platformer controller feels good (and yes, I noticed the coyote time lol). The driving section doesn't feel like an afterthought either. Controls are consistent and don't fight you.
Audio's solid too. The track fits the paper aesthetic surprisingly well, and the SFX are satisfying without being overbearing. It just feels polished across the board.
This is one of those entries that makes you wonder how it isn't higher up already. Definitely deserves more visibility. Really well done.
