Tough. I was really mixed between wanting to know what happens next and thinking that my heart couldn't take it. Definitely a strongly written story which might not be for everyone.
As far as pacing goes, I think it is ok, story wise. A sprint button for moving around would be handy. I also noticed that by loading the save, it brought me to the next part of the game. But I guessed I would have missed it if I wasn't curious and didn't try loading the save file after the first part.
Minigames were a nice optional touch as well.
A well-written read, and definitely not an enjoyable read, that's all I can say.
