do you plan on making a english translation at one point?

(1 edit) (+1)

Yes, it is planned, but later—simply because the game was being put together for the jam on the last day of the deadline (the first programmer let us down and abandoned us), we were unable to insert the English translation properly. We'll need to rebuild the project from scratch, fix a couple of issues, and then everything will be ready. As soon as I do that, I'll post an update and write to you again.

got it, thanks for letting me know. I'm curious to see what this has to offer

The only thing is that I'll have to mention that it's a mini-novel, because in the jam I participated in, the limit was 1000 words and one sprite/background (+ menu image).

Wait, jams can be that short? I'm surprised.

Will you expand on it at one point past the jam or it's a completed story?

Yes,  it's a very small jam. Literally a micro-jam, but that's its advantage—you can quickly make something interesting.)

Hmm, I don't think I'll expand it—it would take a lot of time and money.

...But I won't lie—if people show interest in “Barons of Misfortune,” I'm all for turning this little jam-game into a full-fledged novel, because I have a couple of ideas for it.
