Man this one was buttery in WebGL. Legit question, what did you do to get it running so smooth? After playing a bunch of entries that chug, seeing yours sit around ~60fps (and the little FPS counter was nice btw) was inspiring.
This is crazy polished for a jam game. The island compisition looks great even in the browser, and the vibe/storytelling-through-environment kept me curious the whole time without needing a bunch of text dumps. The sparkly particles were a perfect "soft magic" layer, and the audio/SFX were super clean. Nothing overstayed its welcome.
The goal/loop was just enough to keep me moving and not wander aimlessly. This could easily be expanded into a full paid thing if you ever wanted to . Really impressed with this one.
