Hey, as a fellow dev that summitted a weird corridor horror game I can appreciate the retro style and shaders, really set the atmosphere well. I couldn't figure out how to kill the enemies, some visual cues and text could've helped me to understand what I'm doing wrong as I don't know if I'm hitting the enemy, or if I could've dodged them, or did I need to find any items to get powerful enough to pass them. But I enjoyed the game, really solid. Well done!

Thanks for your feedback!
I'm trying to think of what kind of visual feedback we should give better, but we thought that the scary sprite and jumpscary sound would be enough to convey that you should not try to fight against them at all in the beginning.
Rolling a better character and having luck on the dice rolls during the fight does help, as well as finding better loot in the dungeon, maybe we should display better the dice rolls on the log itself?

You could make like an attack animation and then add grey text: "damage 0", something 2D like in Undertale, the slashing animation. Just to let the player know he did something and it didn't work. Maybe that

Yeah like separating better the turns right, that does make sense!
