I was quite confused by this one, as it didn't seem like clients ever asked for a destination that was available as an option. Customers asked for desserts, alpine experiences, bar-hopping across the Americas (ordinary places), but I couldn't relate those requests to any of the destinations (strange places) available. I didn't notice any feedback on whether I'd picked a destination correctly or not, either.
It seems like other commenters here enjoyed the gameplay, so I've possibly just missed something fundamental.
Music and overall atmosphere was nice, and I liked the visuals of the UI, company logo, and other computer screen components. The art for destinations and passport photos are well-drawn too, but feel like they come from a bit of a different universe than the rest of the game.
A Papers Please-style travel agency sim has very good potential as a game, though! Weighing up a client's requirements against what's available and in budget could be a brain-tickling experience, especially the thought of the player becoming very knowledgeable about what each destination holds over time so serving clients more efficiently.
