Wow, the art in this one is beautiful! I can tell that a lot of time went into this. I also love the adventure/journey vibe with variable playthroughs and encounters. I do wish there was some more variations and some more strategic planning that went into what decisions I need to make at each location. There was also a time that I ran into the bandits and gave them the gold and I lost, but it says in the beginning that gold isn't required so I was confused by that. Well done overall, y'all should be proud :)

As for the events let's start with the obvious : the dreaded bandit encounter. It should not kill you to get to 0 gold. It's one of the bug we didn't see before submitting TT
I wish I had more time to spend on the games events. At first it was expected that each directions (left/right) of each biome gives you different expected returns. For exemple the forest/swamp biomes should be more food oriented. Desert should have been harsher but more present on shorter path.
We wrote all the events sunday night and I couldn't spend time balancing events outcomes.
Lastly you are supposed to lose food each node which would force the player to take risks.
2 hours more and all this would have been fixed but that's what you get when you start coding friday. :)
