Guy, the theme and the core concept are good overall, really, But I think it needs more optimization, because unfortunately the game gets very slow here.

But congratulations, this is my first “serious” game jam too o/ I’m in Unity engine for now, but I’ll try to explore Godot too next year o/

I'm glad to hear you like the theme! If you don't mind could you let me know what part was laggy? Does it start runningfine the become progressively more laggy as racoons spawn or it moreso the environment causing lag?

Oh, no worries ^^

And about the lag, it’s right at the start of the game. I think maybe it’s the environment (the project have occlusion culling?). Maybe it’s my browser/PC, but I can’t be sure, since other games ran fine here. But optimization is something apart from the jams. In general, the idea can be polished into a complete game :D

Oh you're right there's no Occlusion Culling rn! Unfortunately I can't update or patch the jame entry anymore :( but it's fs something I'm gonna take into account if I ever polish it into a game lol. Also thanks for letting me know and all the nice words !!! :D
