Dude this is really good! Love the art style for the menus and I'm getting heavy balatro vibes which I LOVE. The feedback is really well done like when you tally up the score it has balatro or slot-machine vibes where number go big = satisfying haha.
Music is also really really chill and I love that a lot! Keep up the great work :D
I really liked the concept I'd love to see where it might go without the jam's time constraints haha. Visuals were pretty cool too, I really liked how it looked!
and yea it was very hard lmao, I was trying my best to beat the volcano obstacle course but unfortunately I don't think I can, maybe one day I'll be able to finish it :)
I feel like increasing the timer by even just 10 seconds could make it feel a lot better for less hardened gamers like myself lol
Really cool premise, I found it fun!
Dude you guys nailed it with the VFX! I can't lie, the difficulty jump from tutorial to level 1 was definitely insane but it might just be because I'm on keyboard and mouse haha. But I can't deny it feels REALLY rewarding when you finsih a tricky part! I'd 100% try it if i see it on the app store, this was really fun dude!
Keep up the good work!!!!! :D
Dude your artist has a TALENT for character portraits, the characters were beautiful and were really creative too :)
I also really liked the story, there's something surreal about finding out you're dead and stories like these haha. By the way, the 4 letter puzzle took me an embarassing amount of time, I kept spamming the word "love" thinking something was wrong and was straight up shakespeareing my own words like "fove" or "five" for like nearly 10 minutes only to realize I'm an idiot 😭
Great work though! Genuinely an amazing game, usually you'd see these style of games in RPGMaker, glad to see Godot being able to do similar stuff like dialogue so well!!!
Great work guys!!! :D
Dude this is amazing! The art style is PHENOMENAL I love surreal games like this and the idea of fishing for mystery boxes for ingredients is amazing! The music is amazing too, props to whomever of the 3 of you were doing that, cuz u sold it extremely well, everything felt trippy!! Esp when it goes "hurry" in the bath-tub!
I'd love to see where you guys go with this, and tbh I totally see this as something that CoryxKenshin/ManlyBadassHero or some other gameplay youtubers could play!!!
Amazing job y'all :D it's fs in my top 5 games in this jam!!
Hey guys thanks for the feedback it means the world :D
And yes unfortunately I do know the jump's broken, I was planning on scrapping it altogether because I was running into a glitch and couldn't resolve it in time, but forgot to remove it when publishing it on itch unfortunately :(
Sorry about that guys..
Thanks so much tho!
As a tutor, can confirm, this is a regular thing that happens to us.
But seriously tho, Dude this is great!! Love the loop mechanic it's so seemless!
At first I thought it was a single ending but each time i clicked play again I was very pleasantly surprised by being greeted with another ending!!!
The meet the game dev ending is hilarious though and my favorite, I was not expecting that at all lmao
Dude this game's great!!! Really addictive and I love the Pizza Tower vibes (if that's the aesthetic you were going for haha). It's really cute u and ur wife worked together on this :)
Honestly I don't think I have any criticism, the controls are very very forgiving with coyote timing and adding a leaderboard is GENIUS but unfortunately I don't think ChickenSlayer29 or his 2 other attempts are ever gonna land in your top 10 haha. I couldn't even break 10k, the greek mythos part always messes me up, tried three times and ended up getting 9300 and 9200 lmao
Great job guys keep up the great work!!!
Seems really fun! Dude the music is a BANGER and the art direction was also really nice :) I think you nailed the game aesthetics-wise. Even the gameplay loop is pretty fun, bullet hells are really fun
on a separate note, I had trouble with controls but I refereshed the page a few times and it works now! It wasn't really a problem but seeing others comment on it made me think I should also mention it haha
Keep up the great work, hope uni doesn't get in the way next time you make something like this :)
Wow, love how it blends 3D and 2D. Honestly the 2D Levels look amazing, this art style's genuinely so good!!
Though I feel like the game may benefit from variable jump height for less float-y jumps on level 1, overall it's pretty cool and fun :)
Another thing is in your 3D levels, the lack of camera movement was really disorienting so it wasn't really fun. I can see the potential of a fixed camera angle and it definitely is a more "strange" approach but you'd need to atleast let the player look around and view the level. I think a mechanic of memorizing the world layout and remembering the level layout and then tackling it with a limited view could genuinely be pretty fun!
Assuming you're a starter in gamedev/godot, I'd say you're on the right track but I'd say even a short but polished single level would feel better than 6 levels which may not feel amazing.
Keep it up!
Wow I love Anomaly games!! It reminded me a lot of Exit 8 and esp this other game called Shikansen 0 by Chilla's Art, not sure if you've heard of.
I kept getting stuck at one of the rooms that looked almost identical to the starting room, but then noticed there was a vending machine with human limbs, can't believe i didn't notice that lmaoo
This was rlly fun, loved the vibes and atmosphere a lot, great work guys!! :D

Wanna kill some Racoons?
BTW crazy coincidence but we both submitted 3 Hours and 22 Minutes before the Deadline LMAO.
Hope you guys weren't Eastern Time Zone and were able to get a full night of sleep and weren't up at 2:50 AM trying to submit their game like a certain someone haha.... ha.....
Dude this is actually really good, and in a week too?? The twist at the end with the TV Octupus went hard, I wasn't expecting that honestly! That twistended my first run but I was able to get him on the second run :)
Also some feedback is maybe you'd want to nerf or reduce the odds of getting that sword that makes you go twice in a round, that ability is OP AF lmao.
Honestly I had a lot of fun, I was able to understand what everything did without a tutorial and the aesthetic was really nice too. Love to see where you guys will go with this! Very impressed u made this within the jam's timeframe
