I had a very good time playing this!

Even though it's rather simple and unfortunately doesn't have any audio, it's main idea is executed very well, and finding the treasure by examining the landmarks and cross-referencing the with the map is very satisfying (it is something we wanted to do in our game as well but here it's the main feature and works better imo). Unfortunately level 2 turned out to be too hard for me, so after some time I gave up (sorry 🙈). Edit: our team's level designer here, I beat the second level. I didn't know about hints in jurnal and with them, it wasn't that hard. Great work, friend, please finish game if only for me.

Also, islands sliding up from under the water as they get closer is such a nice detail, and it's little things like this that make a game great, I believe many developers would simply drive the camera z-far slider down instead and call it a day.

Good job making this game, thanks!

Thank you for playing the game and leaving a review ! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

You're not the first one to forget to use the journal for level two ! Another player told me they thought it was only for the tutorial, and they didn't open it for the levels one and two. I should have made it clearer that it can contain crucial infos for each level !

For the island sliding up, I took inspiration from The Wind Waker, from what I remember they used a similar system to emulate the feeling of islands appearing above the horizon.
And yeah for the audio part... I just didn't manage my time well enough. I'll make sure to be more organized for the next one !
