It was simple, cute, and well-polished. Honestly, time was tight, and I needed two attempts to win, but it felt like a sweet victory. kudos

The atmosphere in this game is great, and the gameplay itself, even though rather simple, is very fun too!
The movement felt a bit floaty at the beginning for me and I missed the ship a few times getting stuck in the ramp, but it feels very good once you get the hang of it.
I got up to level 31 my second run, but I guess it does not have a good ending :c
Edit: I also kinda don't understand why having Trusty unequipped is an option
I had a very good time playing this!
Even though it's rather simple and unfortunately doesn't have any audio, it's main idea is executed very well, and finding the treasure by examining the landmarks and cross-referencing the with the map is very satisfying (it is something we wanted to do in our game as well but here it's the main feature and works better imo). Unfortunately level 2 turned out to be too hard for me, so after some time I gave up (sorry 🙈). Edit: our team's level designer here, I beat the second level. I didn't know about hints in jurnal and with them, it wasn't that hard. Great work, friend, please finish game if only for me.
Also, islands sliding up from under the water as they get closer is such a nice detail, and it's little things like this that make a game great, I believe many developers would simply drive the camera z-far slider down instead and call it a day.
Good job making this game, thanks!
the main character in this one surely has the style
I'm not sure what I should do, are the winged hearts in the top left health? I keep dying in one hit :c
the collisions are a bit weird, like, I lost a couple of times because I was trying to hide between the graves only to bump into an invisible wall
a nice foundation, could be expanded some
for example, if the time was limited and running over the skeletons gave time bonus, the boost they give you would be more of a risk/reward mechanic, right now if you want to get the highest score you can, you'll most likely avoid the skeletons and wait for them to align just right
still, a fun, small, but relatively complete game
I don't remember the last time I played one of those "static" shooters, mechanically that's a blast from the past, all the way back to the flash era (I consider that a very good thing by the way), but with a little more technologically advanced visuals
there is a funny bug that you can still shoot some of the enemies while on the game over screen
I also like the fact that the firing sound effect is not played on a missed shot
