That was very impressive. A very solid tower defense (is it still tower defense if its units, not towers? King-is-Watching-like?). Meta progression was a nice surprise, its nice to have those in a roguelite game. I do feel a bit weird about not letting you build resource production buildings until you get a blueprint for a building that utilizes the resource. Made me do a double take when I picked iron forge early on. I do believe early runs tilt a bit towards just picking unit upgrades, because searching for all the parts for a better unit to fill your population limit can be much harder. Overall, really enjoyed it, great work!

We’re still experimenting with ways to make early choices feel less restrictive.
