Two People worked on our game so we'll both leave our impressions.

Neri:

Let's start by staying please continue working on this game, it's super fun and i'm having so much fun testing

Given that I enjoy it so much i hope you won't  mind some constructive criticism.

I would love it if the enemies made a sound when dying but not repeated so it doesn't get annoying like a squish rather than a death screech.

The force field kinda takes from the enjoyment maybe make it a rune circle on the floor.

I love the movement and the platforms and would really enjoy a better arena but  i know time really restricted this beauty of a project hope u work more on it after game jam please keep me posted.

Btw amazing player movement animation ;) reminded me of some games i don't quite remember the name of.

MarioMario7:

I won't repeat what my friend has already said.

The different kinds of ways to gain momentum made for some very entertaining gameplay. The upgrade system was very nicely done and the leaderboard was the cherry on top. And the music feel absolutely perfect!!!!

PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the detailed feedback.

I was thinking that there should be an easier way to keep track of when an enemy is killed. Adding a sound makes sense and I’m thinking more animation to the exp bar so that it’s visually noticeable when you kill an enemy.

The force field needs work yeah. The shader looks good on the outside, but didn’t think about how it would be viewed on the inside and then didn’t have time to fix it. Making it a rune circle on the floor is a good idea to mark the distance.

Our 2D artist did a good job with the hands. Made it feel a lot more alive when running.

I have a few ideas for more ways to gain momentum, but I need to get better at level design to make that not feel unmanageable for the player.

Thanks for the feedback and praise!
