Loved the game! Character controls feel very smooth and responsive. Even on ladders! Whom did you sell your soul for that skill??
Jokes apart, it really is a great experience. The only big problem for me were billboard sprites. By their nature, they spin around their axis a lot, so making such pictures big makes navigation in close spaces a bit confusing. You just don't know for sure where you can pass and where it is impossible, but you can't see it yet because of the current sprite angle. Or maybe it's just me...
Also, are their death screams a Wolfenstein 3D reference?

Next time I make a game like this, I'm going to make sure to make the hitboxes for the billboard sprites more clear. I used a small 16-wide hitbox on almost everything in the game for time constraint reasons even where the billboard was otherwise way bigger than that.. Also, it's totally a wolfenstein 3D reference, the whole game is! I really appreciate you playing, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
