The premise is interesting, but the game clearly needs some work in terms of expanding the plot (lore also) and character relationships. Here we are, saving someone, then fighting, then dying, then feeling sorry. During these interludes, it's like an important plot points are missing. Everything piles up and blends together. Besides, I didn't feel MC at all. The game options were just minimal. I couldn't respond to Zehir at all as in game element. Maybe my MC is a clear opponent of P.U.R.G.E. actions, and during the battle I wanted to convince Zehir about that. Or vice versa I'm just a butcher who sees only duty. This game is more like a rush kinetic novel.
If you continue developing this VN, I hope you'll give players more choices and slow down the pace of the story.
p.s. The kissing scene was also too unexpected. I'm not saying anything about the fact that I thought I was playing as a man and imagined a typical Y/N MC... but ok, my preferences to play as man aside. You see, I love yanderes, I really do. But there must be at least some kind of logic? Throughout the story, MC cares for people and worries about them. The destruction and chaos clearly hurt her. Then Zehir tortures and mocks her. And after all this, she doesn't mind a kiss??? No, well, there is still a difference between kindness and stupidity (yandere doesn't count, it doesn't take them long to fall in love). Anyway, good luck with your development.

I should've added on the game page that the demo is essentially a kinetic visual novel. I'm also bothered by the lack of choices. I was going to follow your idea at first, but I didn't have much time. I just came up with a deadline for me. I wanted to finish this before college and in time for the yanjam 2026. The result turned out rushed. The game jam is not over yet so maybe I should've worked more on it.
I initially wanted to add pronoun choices but that'd take more time and I didn't know how to do it. Again, should've worked on it more 🤦🏻♀️
Unfortunately, I won't expand the worldbuilding much. Zehir and mc's relationship will be the focus of this game. I'll leave that to another game where the worldbuilding is the focus.
I'll try to fix the rushed pacing on my next update 🙏🏻
"Again, should've worked on it more"? Going to be blunt, here... NEVER apologize for making the protagonist you want to make, and never feel like you need to cater to others. You didn't commit some cardinal sin by not putting in pronoun options, for goodness sake. There are many other VNs out there with customization options; things don't need to cater to everyone under the sun. If anything, female-locked VNs are the minority these days, and actually have been for years at this point. It always baffles me when I see people try to claim otherwise... and quite a few people have, on this site. As someone who has been playing VNs for 30+ years at this point (so, long enough to see the evolution of them in real-time), the claim isn't even remotely accurate.
...you noticed only one point I mentioned, right? I've never understood people who butt into other people's conversations. Also no one asked for your opinion or am I wrong? I was talking to a developer who clearly listens to their audience, which what any smart, responsible, and mature person, not just a game developer, would do. We were having a reasonable, calm conversation, but internet moralists just can't ignore something THEY can't agree. So much for freedom of speech.
Oh, the projection. Goodness.
You realise no-one said you weren't allowed to post anything, right? You also realise this is a public website and thus, anyone can post, right? This was not a private conversation. I bet you would have had no problem with me "butting into" the thread if I agreed with you. Sorry, but as much as some people may want it to be, this isn't quite an echo-chamber full of mindless sycophants.
People like you who bring up "freedom of speech" are often the ones trying to silence others, as you're clearly trying to do by whining about my post to the dev, because you didn't like what I had to say. Well, too bad. If you can't handle push back, perhaps you should step away from the internet for a bit.
