Interesting concept for sure!  The mix of 2D and 3D is decently well executed, and the mechanics work well- but the game was generally hard to play due to the stuttering, and I had an issue where my view direction would snap one way or the other seemingly randomly.  I got soft-locked as well after the elevator and ended up in a room with no exit. Sound design is nice, though I would've loved to see more variation in ambience, and a little more tie into the story with the sound.  Overall, good job! the mechanics are sound, and it all has a narrative which is interesting to follow!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah we didn't reserve enough time to implement shader compilation unforuntately. By any chance was the room you softlocked in a dark room where light was flooding it when you looked away from the black rectangle? Because that is intended and the solution to that was to walk backwards to escape out of that room. We probably should have had more hints for that part though lol
