Loved the art style, sounds, music. They all merge perfectly! The Little Prince is one of my favorite books as well <3 really fun game!

Just one note: I found it difficult to differentiate in several parts of the level if an object will cover me of being catch, because even if there’s no shadow box, some objects feel they are big enough to cover the player from the Lamplighter’s POV.

Maybe would be a nice idea to make the player object over the objects, and use that as the main cover mechanic? Something like Little Nightmares or Inside do in their games. Just a future improvement :)

Hey there, i'm happy you liked It! I found The Little Prince inspiring and finding someone who read it is amazing😊

About the objects, if I understood correctly, It's a good idea to make the objects that don't cover you go behind the player,

thanks for playing and for the advice!

I was referring more that the player only hides when it’s in the shadow of few selected items, but doesn’t hide when behind the object itself (green zone is OK, red he sees you):

Maybe you can make the player be “behind” the book, moving the layer up on z-index, and make the safe zone be the object itself, and differentiate which object you can hide behind, and which is a platform like this:

Hope it helps with the images :)
