I have no idea how unfortunately. But all I can say: Try the uncompressed version
Plz make this easier for linux users you have a GREAT game. Right now you can:
1. Run the game on X (PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0)
2. winetricks d3dcompiler_47.dll
Crash happens when you jump down the pit into the water. If you look down it seems to delay the 1.5-2 seconds before the crash happens.
I was running the game with wine under bottles with no issue. Compressed version had some sound issues for some reason, but not the uncompressed
