Use of the limitation
It's done in several ways :- Author is Writing a book named " Left in the Dark " ,The entire world is pitch black, and Arthur Quill is only a small light (literally), forcing you to explore with very limited vision. In story of game everyone is left in dark about truth of story of carter house . Moral and emotional darkness in game story about experimentation on darkness. Story of Game is Ambiguous

love the atmosphere and use of the limitation! tho when playing the web build, the popup text is too small to read so that made it difficult to play

Very atmospheric, and the notes have a certain air of unsettling creepiness to them... I really wanted to know what happened!
The house was definitely a bit too big, though, and not knowing how many notes there were left made it a little odd to decide when to stop playing, but the effect still landed- I was on edge and curious the whole time.
Good job, thanks for posting!

Great storytelling! Great  art, nice music. For the feedback I think the movement is too slow for me. Also, I don't know where I should go so perhaps you can make a more forcing level design. That's all. Great game!

Some great writing and atmosphere here! Would have liked if I could move a little bit faster, but besides that very nice game!

I think you nailed the atmosphere, I really enjoyed it! The notes were well written.

I found that the field of view was too zoomed in, or maybe I just needed a run/jog mechanic, or a map that uncovers as I explore the house. I found myself doubling back a lot and I think I may have I missed a few areas.

I got to the end (I think). I couldn't figure out the mystery of the story. Nevertheless I was intrigued.

I almost got my notebook out to start writing what I saw to connect the pieces. Sadly I don't have the time for that right now, but I love the idea of the game. The aesthetic is also pleasant to play through.

I feel like adding some sort of a journal system would do the most to further build up on the idea here.

Or maybe not? I lowkey like the idea of just scribbling notes down myself to solve it.
