The ice sheet physics are amazing and the skating is fun! Sadly I don't think the gameplay is able to quite do those justice, since the safest strat is just to usually stand completely still and let all the goblins try to come to you. You also seem to always start pointed straight towards a huge patch of water. I think a reason to move, like having to find snowballs on the map, and maybe something to make skating a bit more forgiving like a air dash or something, would go a long way.
