An update 2 years later was unexpected. This game is definitely a fun one to return to. Will there be an update to the Steam version as well to give us more Cumdy achievements to unlock?

Yeah, for steam there will be at least two achievements, one for beating Marduk and one for beating him without popping candies/shaking the container.
But it will probably be out more to the end of this week, like sunday
