At first I thought it not being turn-based was an issue, but I quickly came to really the speed things operated at. No time to think, there’s an S sprinting at you and he’s got a STAB.

The visuals are great. Simple ASCII with some fantastic effects on top. I loved the environment reacting to events.

The music was simple but appropriate to the style.

I did encounter a bug where I could not longer move downwards after killing two enemies in a vertical hall, but it’s a jam game, so bugs are to be expected.

I was really unsure about the realtime format but it just felt like it could work especially with the theme and visuals and I'm happy with how it turned out! Sorry about that crash, if it's the same one others have been having it seems to be triggered by leaving the game running in one level for a while :(

Thanks for playing!
