I like the combo name for this adventure.  Very creative!  The factions are also cool.   I also like that PCs can give a life.  That is a cool option!

Thanks a lot mate. I like to keep fiction first as much as I can so I found the Arcade Life would aid in a cool way  to the OSR lethality. And doing that I recalled playing beat 'em up games and being able to take a life from your partner to keep going together.
Comment like yours we'll help get the wind to do a more polished next version.

Some really cool ideas here, and you embraced your NES themes so well! I would have loved some interior art to break up the text, but I get that you had a lot to say! I love how you included the OSR features section. Great tips there.

Thanks for the comment, mate . It really encourages me to make a better version. I definitely went too big with the scope, so I struggled to fit everything into the page limit. With a bit more room (and without a deadline), I can also bring in some interior art from friends and replace that awful cover.

I like the setup for the adventure and character creation! The layout and usability could be improved to make it easy for a GM to pick this up and run though. The grapple sprocket is a very fun item and feels very megaman!

Thanks for reading and for the feedback. The layout is definitely something I should improve. I kinda bit off a bit more than I could chew trying to fit it all my ideas into 16 A5 pages. Next version I’ll definitely aim to make it more GM-accessible.

Some cool stuff here! I like the heavy faction elements and the megatroid PCs, though I think there's more that could have been explored with incorporating Mario elements - a pipe network seems like a natural fit.

The biggest area of improvement I see is the adventure leaves too much work up to the GM to round it out and prepare it to run. For instance: "Each tunnel should advertise its owners with three obvious clues and one subtle clue" - these don't appear to be in the entrance location keys; treasure needs to be rolled on tables; "draw a more detailed map" for the Dead God's altar; etc.

Perhaps a lot of this was due to the jam's time and space restrictions. I think if you could flesh out the keys with more detail it would improve things a lot.

Thanks for the reading and the feedback. I went back and forth on the pipe thing, and I decided to leave it out because I couldn’t come up with something cool to justify it. Funny enough, when I read your comment I instantly got an idea that would have worked perfectly, so I’m probably adding that in the final version of this module. It needs at least one more iteration to make it more GM-friendly.

Time and space definitely worked against me. I went too big with the scope of the whole thing. The next version will benefit from having more pages to allow for a better layout and provide more ready-to-implement stuff for GMs.
