I love the Jeopardy! Game. That’s definitely my favourite part. I feel like the layout could have benefited from columns, there’s kind of a lot of text. Great job on ratcheting up the tension over the adventure.

Great stuff! I love the tone. The Rock Snorter descriptions are really fun. I have to say that I almost changed the title of my submission when I saw yours show up! I kept it in the end and after reading your work I’m happy to share the word.

Some really cool ideas here, and you embraced your NES themes so well! I would have loved some interior art to break up the text, but I get that you had a lot to say! I love how you included the OSR features section. Great tips there.

nice work! A really solid and well fleshed out adventure. Great work on the monsters too. My eyes would appreciate a larger font size, but I understand you wanted to get as much content in as possible :)

You nailed the vibe, though I’d appreciate a bit more contrast between the pages and the words. Fun setup overall, and the layout is very reminiscent of the way text might be displayed in a video game. Tres cool!

I really appreciate the kind words!

when I first saw the hand coloured art, I was a little wary. Once I read the adventure however, I saw the quality. Extremely gameable and table ready. Well organized and uses the inspirations well. What it lacks in polish it makes up for in the material. I ended up being won over by the charm of the paper cutout style as well.

The inspirations shone through loud and clear. The Veggie kin were great. I’m not a big fan personally of adding new mechanics, so I felt the Tomcat system was a bit overwrought. I would love if you perhaps just referred to boat rules and spent the extra space on expanding the adventure itself. The illustrations are charming, add more!

Glad  you like! The smorks came out of my own love of chaos at the table. I want the players to freak out when they Smorks get loud and potentially draw the guardian beasts' attention...
Those areas are simple and are covered in the mini descriptions in the main map key. If I had more space I would expand on them perhaps. I'll add it to the list of post-jam to-dos!

No way, keep it.

Wow, thanks for the comment! I'm glad you found so much to like! I'll definitely be expanding on it post-jam.

Lol at just straight-up having the LA Raiders in there.  I like the vibe and art.

The layout and colour palette is beautiful

Clear and easy to follow. You did a very good job of incorperating the influences. I would have liked to see a less linear adventure and some more art, but very good overall.

LOVE the touch that you took all the colours in the book from the NES games you drew. That's vibes.

The art is charming and the whimsical names are really fun.

I love this. First off, the cover reminded me of a dungeon synth cassette. The map is colourful and totally something you'd see in an NES manual. I like how you've set up a cool myth, and a great area for emergent play. Bravo.

Hoo boy, I sure love your Groening-esque art style!

You have any physical copies left?

PoD please! I love your stuff and I want to hold it in my own idle hands.
